Francoise wrote :If this board is moderated, it is so subtle as to be unnoticeable. And that's as much "moderating" as I can tolerate. It is as true now as it was over a hundred years ago, "That government is best that governs least."

Which is about what I am trying to say Francoise .....

I have to chair meetings at times and the best way to keep things running smoothly is to just gently move matters along. It has to be subtle and fair and with no double standards.

One can chair a meeting WTS style or one can do it UN style ....

I hope that makes what I am trying to say clearer

I wish I could communicate in writing as well as I could 10-15 years ago ...it is hard trying to say something when your brain always feel likes it full of marshmallow.

Anyway, the powers that be on H2O have come to realize that moderation should not be WTS style and needs to be gentler and just seeing that the board is running smoothly and that those that are new learn where to post etc.
