Interesting analysis.
I would add that the JWs practiced all of this before we knew about the mind altering methods of the Chinese.
Also, I would add one other method: Keep the groups small. It is much easier to maintain conformity in a group of 75-150 than it is in a congregation numbering in the hundreds.
