My niece decided not to give up her non jw boyfriend. The elders marked her. She said they will give a talk on "Local Needs" and warn the friends that someone in the congregation is not such good association.
She said they will not announce her name. So I asked her what is the point? Are they going to swoop the people away to a corner after they talk to you in the hall and warn them that you are not good association.
She said yes that is exactly what they do, They did it to a friend of hers a while back.
This so freaking lame. What the hell gives them the right to do this?
