Greetings Jst2laws,: 1 Where do you keep these goodies. This is to much research and time invested to just put it here once. Would it surprise you than Jan only posted a TINY segment of the WT trail of false prophecy? I will get you some pretty comprehensive links if you would like. All of the Studies in the Scriptures are available online now, and most (if not all) the the Watch Towers from 1879 to 1917 are also scanned and available.Have you heard of "The List?" It's hundreds of pages of useful WTS quotes, including all false prophecies, speculations and predictions.
There is a wealth of old JW info. on the net.: But you don’t have a link to a site. Probaly the most all-around comprehensive site is the Watchtower Observer. Jan closed down his site and moved all his material over to that site. There are other sites that specialize in other types of information relating to JWs. One site even has links to 1,100 JW sites!:Surely you have this kind of gem organized for us somewhere so we can bookmark it and go back when we need it. PLEASE!Shoot! That stuff is "old hat" to we demonized apostates!
:2 Where do you get the publications. I read on some site “WT (reprints)” or something like that. Are you interested in buying old WT publications? If so, I can give you a few places where you can shop around and perhaps purchase some, in addition to providing you to all the free stuff that is out there.I find it interesting the ex-JWs are more informed about JW history than most JWs, including many of their leaders.: I only have WT’s back to 1942 most of the books and old booklets (never read the booklets- should I?) The real "gems" are the WT's in the 1920's but they are expensive to obtain. I know where you can get practically all the WTs on CD ROM. You can also get most of Russell's and Rutherfords stuff on CD ROM, too. There are several booklets that are very noteworthy and very valuable. Alas, they are also very rare. "The Fall of Babylon The Great" (1919) is one of them. "Birth of a Nation" is another.: Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have these kind of quotes available in PDF format to download. Hey, that is an excellent idea!Feel free to write me and let me know exactly what you want. For your own information, JanH just finished getting his Master's Degree, and his thesis was on Joseph Rutherford. I'm sure if you are nice to him, he would be more than happy to send you a copy.
