"I have to help them. The Society has them captive!" I began packing my gear.

"But Master, I have learned so much!" I begged.

The Master stared off at nothing. "The future is changing. Never fixed. Hurry now to their aide and all may be lost. Stay and well all may still be."

"I must go. My family..." I looked down at the old Master. "I will complete my training."

"Hmmph!" the Master grunted. "Vulnerable at this time you are. The lure of the dark side is powerful. Too weak to resist its mind control you are."

"I've learned so much. And I will return to finish. I promise that, Master."

"Reckless are you!" the Master assessed me candidly. "On this venture you risk all. The Governing Body you underestimate. Want you to leave this place they do. This place they seek to destroy. This place a haven to all it is. Protected it must be."

"Master!" I gazed deeply into his ancient eyes. Before me was a decision...

"Very well, Master. I will stay."

The Master sighed. "This test was great. Passed it you have. A Jedi you have become."
