Yo!At the District Convention in NYC July 4th weekend, this woman who looked like a cross between Yoda and a lizard was sitting at then end of the row. Every time someone got up she rolled her eyes at them. First of all, when you are ugly AND you have bulging eyes (oh, and her eyelids blinked from the bottom to the top!) and you have a lazy eye...you don't need to be ROLLING your eyes!To boot, she had a sister wither her (about 20 years old) and the 20 year old had a 2-year old daughter. She let her two-year-old fall asleep on the floor....meaning that anyone who had to get up had no choice but to go the other direction. Happy my butt!

Actually when I heard that it always made me sad...I was not happy at all, and being a witness seemed to be the cause of my sadness (later I found it was the sum total of my sadness) because I couldn't measure up. I didn't believe. I was bad association because I wasn't baptized, even tho the elders kids were smoking pot and stealing car stereos to buy more drugs. I was miserable. And when I would hear everyone talk about the joy they felt at being a witness it just drove the knife a little deeper because something must be wrong with me if I wasn't as happy as all of them. IT HAD TO BE ME! SURELY NOT THIS ORGANIAZATION THAT ONLY BROUGHT SUNSHINE AND BUTTERFLIES TO EVERYONE ELSE WITHIN IT....Ehh live and learn--there is a happy life outside of the borg. Free of people telling you how you feel... | ||

I could convince myself that I was happy until I started thinking about my grandparents and other people who are so kind, generous, loving, good, dear and precious being "destroyed" at Armageddon. I had nightmares. Then I would redouble my efforts to try to convert as many people as I could. What a waste! | ||
