: The most horrendous injustice of all time was committed when Christ was executed on a torture stake. The apostle Peter tells us that Jesus “committed no sin.” Yet, he was accused by false witnesses, found guilty, and executed.—1 Peter 2:22; Matthew 26:3, 4, 59-62.
Does anyone else see a major problem here? The death of Jesus was the "most horrendous
injustice of all time." However, had not Jesus given his life (according to dubs) mankind would NEVER had had a chance at redemption, and that would have been a horrible injustice too. After all, we're not responsible for what the naked lady and talking snake did.
So here's the dubbie dilemma:
1) The death of Jesus was a horrible injustice.
2) Had Jesus not died willingly, it would also have been a horrible injustice.
Either way, it's a horrible injustice: Jesus dying, Jesus not dying.
3) "God is a God of 'perfect' justice.
