My Dad's PO school wasn't new stuff, just a lot on studying, using the CD rom, etc. He loved it...."

Hmmm... "a lot of studying." In the light of the Sept. 07 Question Box, etc. I can pretty much tell what this school was, based on these comments: It was a weeklong course on how to use the WTS's literature, and ONLY the WTS literaure, to research questions.

That's it. "WE (WTS) have all the answers and we'll show you how to find them."

oh ya, and dont study any publications in your library that arent included in the latest version of the CD ROM.

It would be ironic if the CD ROM became the "preferred" resource for studying above the printed volumes. We have already seen examples of "revised" articles in the CD verses original printing. Perhaps in time we will be "reminded" that "some choose not to order bound volumes, preferring rather to use the CD ROM. For articles that one may find of particular interest they may choose to keep their personal copy of the WT available for later reference."

This would create obvious advantages for the WTS, both in control and enormous financial burdens associated with printing bound volumes.
