I know it was just announced yesterday about the BS change to CBS (congregation Bible study) merging soon with TMS & SM. But that's old news to us (hee-hee). What your speculation of the next change?

some kind of rounding up or purging of inactive ones. Yeah I was thinking that the Society will start cracking down on faders by stipulating a time limit, let's say 3 years.. if a person is inactive for 3 years then they will be considered disassociayed, and the R&F won't talk to them... Just a thought, I'm not Spirit-Directed...

they will want more riches so the rank and file had better cough up some series cash $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. There will be more restructering to reduce burden and overhead so to make more profit. It's been posted elsewhere by someone else but: Getting rid of Circuit Overseers. A local elder could be deputized to visit local congregations and trains to report the goings on to headquarters. There is already a position called City Overseer. The City Overseer could extend his responsibilities to actually visit the local congregations under his jurisdiction. This would wipe out an entire layer of middle management - a layer that could be fertile for apostasy. | ||

Trimming the new 1.45 hr weeknite meeting down to about 1.5 hours (dump the no.2 talk, etc) And less emphasis on driving around the neighbourhood wasting your gas in FS knocking on empty doors, with more emphasis on street preaching, mall preaching, commuter preaching (display stands, etc) and general informal preaching. | ||
