yeah, the family that half raised me was a PO's family. We'd go to the service meeting and then run errands (usually get movie tickets for later or something), meet for breakfast or break if we liked the place the group was going, and then went home.
When I was first a mama I used to say that my baby screamed in the car seat and I didn't want ot make her miserable. It was true, she screamed so much in her carseat. Unless someone was sitting next to her that is... which of course all together likely in service. But I left that detail out.
