Just like the "never-referred-to" (by the WTS in their publications) scriptures in John Ch 8 about Jesus preventing the adultress from being stoned to death and forgiving her, the WTS also doesn't pay any attention to the "if you have something against your 'brother' first go to him in private" scripture, which the now df'd party actually did in his letter.
I guess it's much more fun to HATE than to love, more fun to disfellowship and shun a scripturally correct person than to show intelligence in one's overbearing overlord-ship.
The recipient of the letter is at fault for revealing the contents of the letter to the elders, instead of taking responsibility for his own defense just between him and the complainant. And the elders are at fault for ignoring pertinent and applicable scriptures which would have exonerated the letter-writer and laid all guilt and responsibility at the letter-recipient's feet.
