I guess it is the same in the USa, but here if you go to a Salvation Army or St Vincent De Paul outlet they will arrange for you to get a food parcel which will have bread, breakfast cereals, butter, jelly, some meat and veges and they will even give you a voacher for gas if you need to get to work or an job interview. You can even get Vouchers to use at local food stores where you can choose what you need, but you cannot get booze of cigarettes on it.So don't starve Farks ..... look up your local phone book and phone one of them .... and you don't even have to give thanks <G>You can also get vouchers to get clothing from their chothing outlet stores free of charge ....JanG
