but I've had trouble thinking of his Flecktones work as Blue Grass - his form there, despite instrumentation, seems to be more acid jazz.
I've seen him at bluegrass festivals and I saw him open for Dave Matthews one time. I have to agree with your assesement. His later work does not qualify as bluegrass to me, though when he plays at festivals and he plays with other bluegrass bands, no one can touch him as far as his playing.| Member | Post |
