Hey Avishai.....what a great thread! Here is another great band I mentioned before! ...Little Big Town...."Welcome to the Family"...is the song that has great lyrics but is not at this point available on line. It's one of my favorites. r.

I like Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, Rhonda Vincent is also really good. I like the old stuff too like Ralph Stanley, Bill Monroe, Jimmy Martin, Flatt and Scruggs. Third Tyme out, The Johnson Mountain Boys, The Boys from Indiana. Of all of these I still prefer Doyle Lawson the best. | ||

FlyingHigh, I wondered if anybody but me loved the Seldom Scene! I too am a "Wait A Minute" fan. I sing a lot and everyone says I sound just like Alison Krauss. So I promise not to sing at you, FlyingHigh! To the person who mentioned "My Ain True Love," that's on the Cold Mountain soundtrack. Great soundtrack with lots of great tunes. Regarding "Old and In The Way," that was a gift given to my ex-husband on one of his birthdays! Not exactly bluegrass, more traditional, but I like the Carter Family as well. | ||
