Hi,

I joined this board to ask one question assuming that once I had the answer I wouldn't ever visit again so for quickness I just used my initials HB.  However having received an answer I found the people and issues on the board very interesting and got hooked and find myself visiting more and more frequently. 

Then I noticed that long-term member "Hamsterbait" (a Jedi!) signs him/herself off in posts as "HB". 

I contacted him/her apologising and said if I was stepping on his/her toes, I was happy to change my alias.  Hamsterbait was very gracious but agreed that for clarity it would be better if I changed.  I have tried to do this but with no success....and have briefly looked through some of the tech questions but didn't find an answer.

Can anyone advise me what to do please?

If it makes any difference, I am on Windows IE.
