"Responsible" - what does that mean? Sounds like "Big Brother" don't you think?
As I understand it, Google ads pay the bills so's we can do what we do. I'm not sure whether it's possible to vet the ads but I'm sure it's impractical.
Who would do it? What criterion would they use? And why?
Surely this smacks of the very control that so many have left.
Freedom means freedom to choose, no matter how looney the choices are
.Wow that is laughable. So if someone says something that is not part of forum rules or something that you deem fall under the rules do you or other Admins also use such non "big brother" thinking? Nope. No Admin does. So lets not try to make this some great freedom debate. It's about money and that's all. I agree that it's a bit inconvenient to try to divert certain ads, not to mention Simon is probably under contract. I still stand by that people on this board would be more then willing to pay for and maintain this site on a donation basis.
