Thanks for the reply. Freedom, yes. I would suggest that you should also have the freedom to choose what adverts appear here.
Although responsible can mean 'in control of' I had in mind what 5b from Chambers says:
5 said of a person: a) able to be trusted; b) able to answer for one's own conduct; capable of rational and socially acceptable behaviour
Society now has a large amount of knowledge and combined experience of cults. To completely ignore those in our decisions is a mistake. But this is just what I think, and we're free to disagree. :)
