And if it's possible to stop their ads showing here, it seems only responsible to do so.

As I understand it, Google ads pay the bills so's we can do what we do. I'm not sure whether it's possible to vet the ads but I'm sure it's impractical.
Who would do it? What criterion would they use? And why?
Surely this smacks of the very control that so many have left.
