hb

the next chapters amy be of help
  • Chapter 8: Coping with Emotions
  • Chapter 9: Rebuilding a Life
  • Chapter 11: Healing from Sexual Abuse and Violence
  • Chapter 12: Making Progress by Taking Action

After that I will cover the infomation :
  • Chapter22: Children In Cults
  • Chapter 23: Therapeutic issues

A quick glance at some of these chapters I can see I might have to split some into parts.

I do understand the passivity thing. I had to give myself permission to to what was best for me instead of waiting for someone's approval. In the WTS so many things had to be approved.

And for most of my life people told me I was selfish by doing something for me. So I had that hurdle to overcome as well.

One thing I learned to do though that was helpful. I would ask myself a couple of questions:
  1. If another person came to me with the same issue/problem what suggestions would I give them?
  2. Is what I want really selfish or is somebiody just trying to make me feel guilty because they want me to do something for them?
