Mind you, I live in Seattle.  The bottom line is that, all protestations to the contrary aside, Boeing screwed the pooch.   The big dogs in charge of the company waltzed around acting like they had the deal sewn up and didn't need to actually do anything.  The food for the celebration had already been ordered from the caterer when they got the news.  Combined with the cheezy deal they tried to pull off a couple of years ago, and the inability to deliver the 787 on time, they shot themselves in the foot. 

I'm arguing against my own self interest here (I work in real estate) but I think Boeing needed a head slap. 

The question is: do we want a President who fights corruption and efficiency where he finds it, or just in the places that are poliltically expedient?
