McCain causes job losses in Kansas and Washington. Takes jobs from Americans. Pentagon gives contract to Airbus. *bump*

They are sheep if they don't snub him. I'm not even a Kansan or a Republican and the story pisses me off.

Mind you, I live in Seattle. The bottom line is that, all protestations to the contrary aside, Boeing screwed the pooch. The big dogs in charge of the company waltzed around acting like they had the deal sewn up and didn't need to actually do anything. The food for the celebration had already been ordered from the caterer when they got the news. Combined with the cheezy deal they tried to pull off a couple of years ago, and the inability to deliver the 787 on time, they shot themselves in the foot. I'm arguing against my own self interest here (I work in real estate) but I think Boeing needed a head slap. The question is: do we want a President who fights corruption and efficiency where he finds it, or just in the places that are poliltically expedient?

If Boeing needed to get things corrected, McCain should of told them what they had to do instead of scheming with Airbus to get the jobs taken from home.
What Boeing needed to do was replace top manangement with people who thought about the good of the company instead of their own bank accounts (I know - that's a stretch in today's corporate world). Since they show no signs of doing that they needed a boot in the ass. McCain and the DoD seem to have been happy to supply the necessary leather.
