Winchester Model 94

I love my model 94 Winchester 30-30 and feel it the most fun gun to shoot...mainly because I feel like John Wayne and just about every other cowboy I have ever seen in movies. I love it even more shooting Hornaday Polypoint bullets for much better range and speed over the old round tips.

Honestly though I have probably had more fun with my old Marlin 22 semi-auto I bought new for $38.00 when I was 14. So I kind of grew up with that gun, and had more fun as a kid with it.

Being a little on the cheap side now, I bought Mossberg 12 pump at a pawn shot two years ago....just something about pumping those shells in and out, and working the lever on the 94 that make shooting more fun...............................oompa.......And I want a real German Luger 9mm parrabellum

I found a nice one in Myrtle Beach last week for 900, but they would not sell to out of staters.

do you like llamas? i like them when they are cheap but alot of them the parts dont interchange between a mil spec 1911........ a friend of mine had a nice one ....... stainless looking ........ and he had an off brand 1911...... i think it was an essex and he tried to take them apart and put the cool parts from one onto the other........... unfortunately.......... well............ doing that for any reason kinda makes the point he wasnt to bright......... he paid another buddy of mine 50 bucks to take his box of parts and put them back the way they should be lol.

the P99 is cool.... very james bondish since he upgraded, i love the .22 verson very small and just a fun as hell gun to shoot.

i like looking at the walther ppks just for the james bond pretending lol........ put on the old movie and hold the UNLOADED gun........ well....... when i was single i used to lol.

the cz52 isnt that a 9x18.......... my cousin wanted to get one of those for his truck, lol i teased him about it told him i wouldnt have anything less than a 9mm.................. he didnt make the connection............ it IS a 9mm......... just a shorter and slightly less powerfull one............ 9x18 rather than 9x19 lol............. i soooo waited for him to pick up on it............... unfortunately he never did. some of those 9x18's you can get a new barrel and change over to 9mm........ cheaper ammo and much more common

my SKS is a chinese norinko............... im trying to work my magic and get one of my buddies at brigade to hook me up with one of those new tapco stocks for it.............. so i dont gotta pay the full 80 dollar pricetag............. yeah i know....... im a cheap bastard

i had the opportunity to buy one for damn cheap..... guy bought it and had a hard time finding ammo.............. which i thought was ridiculose since just about every place ive looked had it. i think he just had a hard time paying non surplus prices for that ammo.

he put 2 boxes through the gun and was offering it to me for 350........ but i was to damn broke. came with 5 or 6 mags night sights and a nice leather holster galco i think. unfortunately for me he didnt want to trade

i woulda at least tried to play with it for a few months before selling it for 450 lol

actully methinks i woulda tried to trade it for one of those new springfield xd .45's in subcompact

As far as the brief safety lesson goes....I strongly advise always wear hearing protection. I was recently trying to shoot down a tree limb hung up near my deck with my model 94, and now have a probably permanant high pitch ringing in both ears.....and the worst part is I never got the limb down dang it................oompa oh and dont be drinking and using guns. I did at home when no one was around and did some bad damage to a metal side panel to my front door. never could find the bullet

Yes, the ammo isn't cheap on a GAP, but Remington is cheaper than Winchester rounds. I just prefer the smaller grip over the ACP. I tried a SIG Sauer .45 and just liked the Glock better. Plus the Glock NEVER misfires, unlike my friend's SIG and Walther. I don't have the Jack, but I would love to have a custom Kimber.

LOL got a better one for ya oompa................ my mom decided to deliver phone books one year............. well they are serial numbered so if you get craploads and then dump them in a land fill............ they can track them and make you give them back the money they paid you to deliver em............. so she had like 5 cases left....... each with like 6 books or so in them wrapped in plastic.

i decided they would make a rather splendid back stop. i then proceeded to stack them up behind my spinning metal target.

out comes my ruger .45 colt with the 7 1/2 inch barrel............................. i fire and fire and fire and fire.............. i notice something keeps being flung back up and hitting me in the chest......... im thinking its the sand and rocks under the target. well im wearing a long sleeved shirt with a front pocket thats open............. a few minutes later my right nipple starts to burn like a bastard............. i look at it more closely..............

i shot the phone books............ they were to dense for the .45 calibur bullet to penetrate........ so it ricocheted back and hit me in the chest........... not enough to hurt......... and fell downward into my pocket........... and THEN it started to transfer its heat into my right titty........................... OUCH.

so all those times i was getting peppered and i didnt know it.

kimbers are damn nice but i hear from my people that their customer service sucks a$$. but the way i look at it........... any competent gunsmith can work on a 1911 and kimbers start out pretty high up there so............ who cares. if i wanted customer service i would only buy tarus.......(life time repair) lol

i was at a gun show and broke as hell............. and wouldnt you just *(&^%$( know it.......... guy has a stainless Para Ord .45.... with 2 factory stainless hi caps............... for sale that day for 500..................... i had to fight myself to keep from heading home to get my springfield mil spec and my tarus pt99 to try and trade for it................. but the dude wanted cash money.......... was sunday and he was headed home and wanted some money to show for his time. WOULDNT YOU JUST KNOW IT.
