Note the following gem from the Watchtower of 1994:

Since we now have the evidence of a growing stream of lawsuits against JW's and the WTS for child molestation and abuse, we have no choice according to this article but to conclude that the WT leaders "have denied God by turning their backs on His moral standards". Clearly, the situation of the WT organization "resembles that of ancient Israel and Judah," in that "The land is filled with bloodshed and the city is full of crookedness,"

Little wonder that many have abandoned the Watchtower organization altogether!

You are correct, NM. The 1994 article almost foretold the moral downfall of the WT Society! The evidence will continue to come "in lawsuits" but this time not against Catholics or some other religion, but against the holier-than-thou Jehovah's Witnesses themselves.

The Dateline NBC report on the pedophile/coverup scandal got the ball rolling. Although it was moderate in tone, it was quite enough for many people who were on the edge of deciding whether or not to commit themselves to the JW lifestyle -- enough to make them sick at the very idea. And the evidence continues to mount worldwide with similar TV documentaries in the UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, and who knows where next!!

The blood of innocent young children is on the hands of the do-nothing shepherds of the WT Society. For shame.

Yep, how the WTS has mercilessly pilloried the "world" for high divorce rates, sexual immorality, teenage rebellion, clergy misconduct, injustice, etc...and then prevaricates when, one by one, the same symptoms become rampant in the congregations.

As shown by the scripture quoted........the WTBTS has always been quick to judge other religious institutions.

However, notice how the wicked are judged by the WTBTS.......not by their works.....but "as evidenced.....by a steady stream of lawsuits" against them.

Well, if this is a WT-approved way of judging (as used by them in print) - then the same measure can be used against them by their own followers.
