	Thanks for sharing your experience.  I have relatives visiting who are witnesses and I thought briefly about going (hmmm about 1.5 seconds!) but I clearly would have thrown up or walked out!   Or more likely burst out in an uncontrollable laughter and embarrassed myself.   Gary: Next they need to tweak their purpose for existence, because with this open ended long view, they've lost their mission of warning the world of imminent destruction at the hand of an angry raging God. They've lost purpose and credibility.  Great point!  If anything, the witness message was one of immediacy and urgency, now they have no clue how long they will be waiting!!!  I hadn't thought of that.   But you know, deep down in the minds of these witnesses I think they can clearly see the WTS is coming up with their best effort to hold on to the idea the Bible is true and justify why Armageddon is not here yet.   I would see this as clearly desperate since they had to say "something" about this since the old doctrine didn't work.  JCanon
