The hall I went to has a huge amount of younger persons, and it seemed to basically just go in one ear and out the other.
There was one comment that really made my mind flame out regarding perceptions:
One person who must have been in the JW organization for a longer time, made a comment regarding a scripture
(i don't remember which one) of how Jesus would be ashamed of his followers if they did not follow his teachings, and how we should accept
this new light and follow it.
Afterwards, I was speaking to an older lady, and she kept stating how wonderful it is that this new light has been made available to us
at the "proper time." I felt like Neo in the matrix at that moment, " take the redpill, or the blue one."
Personally, I believe that the society was beginning to feel the pressure of the 1914 generation teaching slowly, and steadily becoming
obsolete.
Being very selective with this article, they were able to avoid upsetting the younger people, and the older ones
would probably feel that they were wrong if any questions popped up in their minds.
